We are located on the 'quiet-side' of Mt. Desert Island, surrounded by Acadia National Park and only 20 minutes from Bar Harbor.

The drive time from Bangor is approximately 1 hour, from Portland about 3 hours, and from Boston about 5 hours.

Driving directions from Ellsworth, Maine

From Ellsworth, follow Route 3 toward Bar Harbor.
After crossing onto Mt. Desert Island, bear right and follow Route 102 to Southwest Harbor.
We are located in the center of town, on the left.
Look for red 'Inn at Southwest' sign just after passing through the flashing yellow light in the center of town.
